Article Marketing - How To Get Clicks Using Your Resource Box

When you write an article for an article marketing site you will have the ability at the end of your article to capitalize on your post with what is known as the resource box.

The resource box is the box at the bottom of your post where you will be permitted to tell your audience a little bit of information about you and also enables you to give reasons why your readers should click through to your website. It's like a free advert for you, so don't waste the opportunity.

It is not a simple thing to do and it takes a bit of practice to decide which turn of phrase will get the result you need from your readers. If you take EzineArticles for example they show you in your stats how many people click through to your site from your article so you can play around a bit and monitor what makes your readers click through to your site.

When you are creating the information for your resource box you must put yourself in the mind of your reader. What reason are you giving them for clicking through? How does it benefit them? Will you be saving them money? Can you show them how to gain more time? Do you have a course to offer them or some other product? Will you be teaching them something that might help them in some other way? If you can solve the problems of your readers then you are onto a winner. Your job is to convince them that you are the one that can help them with their issues or queries before they choose to move on.

Publish an Ezine Using an Autoresponder

An autoresponder is one of the highly utilized tools on the internet these days especially when you are starting an online business. It can be used in publishing as well as the distribution of ezine/newsletter. Starting an internet business with the aim to gain popularity for your website necessitates this tool.

The services of the autoresponder are usually set up to send immediate response to the people on the list a given intervals after signing up, having an autoresponder to send out an ezine can cause you to get confused a bit.

How to use an Autoresponder

1. Depending on the autoresponder you are using, a 'broadcast' feature will be needed. This feature is essential and works similarly as autoresponse feature, only with one huge difference - messages are not sent out at the intervals. However, these messages can be fixed with schedule to go out on a specific day with no bearing on if the subscriber is tot up to the mailing list. The broadcast messages are also called as 'one time' messages send only to the recent mailing list. There are people who make a sign up for the lists if the broadcast sent was not received unless it was requested specifically with the autoresponder address that you need to set up.

When you employ the broadcast feature in the autoresponder services, you have several options to choose from like typing the newsletter or copy and paste it to the editor. You can the select to send this broadcast to all in the mailing list. If the autoresponder services you are using are more advanced, it is also equipped with more broadcasting features.

2. One of the smartest ways to use an autoresponder is to maintain the mailing list and distribute the newsletter. It would be a lot easier for subscribers to opt-in or out with all of the distribution held for you according to the set schedule. It would be very difficult to maintain the list if you are not using an autoresponder that will provide automation. If you can, it would be best to write every issue of the newsletter or ezine in advanced to be delivered on the mailing list wherever you are and what you do. This is the convenience that automation can provide.

It would also be easy for you to turn back to your previous issues since the past broadcast and messages in autoresponse are saved. You can easily provide people with their request for issues in the past. It also includes a tracking feature in every issue of the newsletter to know the number of clicks that you will get for several products and websites you want to promote in ezine/newsletter.

3. In case you have not purchased an autoresponder yet or even signed up with this service, you have to make sure that you search for the broadcast features beforehand since not all of the autoresponders and services that you can find contain this feature and as marketing progresses. An autoresponder would surely be a big help when you are starting business online.

Ezine Publishing Can Catapult Your Venture Into Rock Hard Success

1. Write. Hearing from us on a regular basis is important! It is an ezine marketing tip we can use to set us apart. It helps people remember us and track us down when they are ready to buy!

2. Good. Put together stuff folks like? Our ezine publishing efforts become important to people. Any schedule is okay. We do want to be somewhat regular and consistent. That way people know when to expect us. They begin to look forward to us!

3. Simple. Ezine publishing can be as simple as sending a little electronic note. Or home made video on a regular basis.

4. List We build a list. People share our message and others opt in. Our list grows. What we share keeps us in touch.

5. Brief. Short messages catch more attention. Summaries with links for each topic help! People who want more ask by clicking.

6. Relationship. Over time, we build a relationship. Our readers begin to respect and trust us, to like us. When people respect, like and trust us they are more likely to want to buy what we offer.

7. Target. We can invite more people! We can put invitations as advertisements in places we expect to find people who are similar in what they want to our customers. That is our target market. People who are most likely to be satisfied buying what we offer!

8. Show up! We get in front of them. We plan our efforts. We make a note when we find an ezine marketing tip that feels like a fit for us. We attract more people to our list and build relationships. Customers remember us and come back. We get referrals as our content is shared. We attract new clients.

9. Asset When we are consistent in ezine publishing over time? Our list becomes our asset. It represents relationships with people who know, like and trust us. People control their own access. Anyone can click on an unsubscribe link and stop hearing from us at any time. This is great because it helps us to disqualify people who may not be a good fit with us. By providing value people do spread our message for us. Word of mouth creates a buzz. More people join our list and figure whether they like and trust us.

10. How Here's how! For example, two seasons of the year I receive daily notes from author and Catholic priest Father John Amsberry. He sends seasonal daily messages. He begins in our Advent season: the weeks preparing before Christmas. He also begins during our Lent season, when we as church prepare for Holy Week and our Easter season. Father John's messages are fairly brief. He is always inspirational! He ends with a short prayer. During Advent Father John has often repeated an important message, saying:

"Slow down. Observe. Enjoy."

Ezine marketing tip: Father John is effective because he stays in touch on a regular basis. His messages match those of his books. He consistently prompts good feelings. Messages become expected. For myself, I am eager to open and read his content. I know it will be a positive, uplifting and spiritual connection. Do you know what else Father John Amsberry does every now and then? He writes another book! When Father John publishes a book he has a list of people who like to hear from him and are likely to buy his new book.

Father John is ezine publishing! He is building relationships. In between books, people interested in what he has to say receive little pieces of great content. We remember him. We look forward to his next books. Even with his hectic schedule, he keeps in touch on a regular basis. He writes a little bit and gets it to his list. You are branding yourself when you do this! Father Amsberry brands his life with the message "You Are Loved" and "U Are Loved" and "U R Loved."

Ezine marketing tip: you can too! Find a way you like to communicate. Trust your gut. You want a way you are comfortable sharing useful stuff. Build a list of people who opt in because they want to keep up with what you are doing. You are branding yourself as an authority. Branding yourself is at the heart of all ezine marketing tips! Your ezine publishing can catapult your venture into rock hard success.

HubPages Interface Is Really Simple to Follow and Better Than Squidoo

A comparison of Squidoo and HubPages from usability perspective.

Article writing not Web Designing I have recently learned about Squidoo and HubPages and decided to try both. I was stunned by the editing interface they both offer. I have not seen anything on Internet before, so easy to move stuff here and there. I have to admit that both websites programmers have done real hard work to create such cool interfaces.

At first I loved the Squidoo interface because it has so many items to add to your lens and was amazed to see how easily I could create my page. But after writing five articles on Squidoo, I started to get a feeling that I am not working on articles instead I am creating web pages, just like a web designer. This made me think that my purpose to come to these websites is to post articles and not to get busy in adding images and videos to make it look nicer.

On the other hand HubPages is extremely simple to follow and it is easy to create a hub. It will give you few layout options for your hub. After you are done, you will end up probably with one photo/ image at top or right side of your article and a comment box at the bottom. You can add more stuff but HubPages do have restrictions on how much stuff you can add. I think these limitations saved my time which was wasted on Squidoo.

So my experience from usability perspective is that HubPages follow the theme of article writing and not converting them into web pages.
